Jennifer Doudna

A professor at UC Berkeley, Doudna helped develop CRISPR/Cas9, the genetic-engineering method that could allow for the editing of genomes but also for the eradication or treatment of sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, Huntington's disease, and HIV.
